☞ REVIVE: 2078-2080 FDB Coming Along

With the new Bier International, 5 & Diamond, Zoma and 67 Orange Street on lower FDB/8th Avenue, this section of South Harlem below 116th Street is turning around pretty quickly and the new affordable housing building on the block is sealing the deal. The lot at 2078-2080 FDB always was such a killjoy walking by at night and reminded many folks of the additional progress that needed to happen to turn around the nabe. We reported a month ago that the ground breaking had commenced on the wide lot between 112th and 113th Street and the changes has been fast in coming. It is still unclear if their will be retail space on the street level but it probably would do well if was offered. Check out the original photo of this lot in our previous post: LINK.
